William ( Bill ) Harvey Young

Bill Young was born December 6, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He grew up in New Market, Iowa son to the late Harvey and Marian Young. survived by a sister Nancy Young (Bob)Calloway of Eldora, Iowa, and preceded in death by his sister Mary Young Orr Miller, of Tucson Az. 

Bill passed away peacefully after a long term illness in his home in Red Rock, Az. He left behind his wife of 53 years Pam Hafford Young, daughter Brandy (Jeff) Matthews of Oro Valley, AZ, son Brent (Kelly) Young from Red Rock, Az. 6 granddaughters 3 grandsons and 4 great granddaughters. Nieces and nephews. He was a retired police officer after serving 22 years. 

He retired from Marana PD in 1997. And he served in the Army during the Vietnam War in Berlin Germany. He was a Christian above all else. At his wishes there will be no funeral. His ashes will be placed in a wall at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana, AZ. For those who loved him and or were his friends.
