William Geoffrey Durrant was born June 25, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa. He entered into rest November 16, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.
Preceded in death by father, George Ray Durrant Jr., aunt Linda Durrant (CA) and aunt Sharon Montross (IA) Survived by mother Betty Margaret Durrant, brother, Francis G. Miller (SC), nieces, Kristina Miller (WI) and Madison Miller (KS) and nephew, Anthony Miller (IA). Also, several great nieces and nephews.
William attended Wetmore Elementary where his classmates knew him as Billy. He then attended Amphitheater middle school and graduated Amphitheater high school in 1989. Throughout his early childhood, He played many sports but excelled in basketball.
An avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia 76ers and the San Francisco Giants.
His interests included cycling, music, pets and the surrounding wildlife. William found joy in attending concerts and sporting events and was proud of his extensive ticket stub collection.
