Uvalda june Williamson

June Williamson, 93, left this world peacefully in the hands of the Lord on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her family and the dog she cherished for 15 years. Born on June 5, 1932, in Texarkana, Arkansas, June lived a long life marked by faith, hard work, and deep care for those around her.

During her working years, June built a career in government administration, where she was known for her dedication and reliability. A devout Christian and a true neighborhood icon, she welcomed friends as family and created a warm, open home where everyone felt they belonged. She loved shopping resale and had a gift for style, able to make any outfit look like a million bucks. A talented seamstress, she generously shared her skills with anyone who asked, mending, hemming, and creating pieces that carried her care in every stitch.

June is preceded in death by her late husband Robert (Bob) Williamson and survived by her three adult children, John and his wife Sue Williamson. Jane (Juanita) Williamson-Davenport, her husband Royce Davenport, and her youngest son Robert (Robby) Williamson with his wife Amy (Milly) Williamson, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who remain grateful for her love, generosity and humor.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 4, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Corona de Tucson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Corona Cares” at coronacares@cox.net, an organization that reflects June’s spirit of caring for her community.

Her warmth, faith, and welcoming presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
