It is with both sorrow and gratitude for a beautiful life well lived that we announce the passing of Trisha Randall Ascherin, age 75, who went home to be with our Lord and Savior on February 21, 2026.

Trisha was born Jan 20, 1951 in Milwaukee WI to Richard and Shirley Randall and lived a life marked by faith, strength, adventure, and service. A woman of unwavering faith, vibrant creativity, and joyful determination. A devoted Christian, she lived her life as a reflection of God’s love — not just in word, but in action. Her faith was her anchor, her compass, and her greatest source of joy and shaped everything she did. It was the foundation of her strength, generosity, and hope as she carried her love for Jesus into every season of her life.

A gifted storyteller and performer, Trisha earned her degree in theater and used her talents to glorify God. She wrote, directed, and performed in numerous pulpit dramas, bringing Scripture to life in a way that touched hearts and inspired many.

One of Trisha’s greatest joys was racquetball. The court was one of her favorite places —she loved the game — the challenge, the camaraderie, and the sheer joy of competition. Racquetball was more than a sport to her; it was fellowship, laughter, and friendship rolled into one.

Her love for travel and adventure led her to a career in the airline industry, where she worked as a gate agent and greeted countless travelers with warmth and professionalism. Later, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit by owning her own small travel business, helping others explore the world she loved so much. She believed travel broadened the heart and mind, and she delighted in helping others create lasting memories.

Above all, she cherished her family and friends alike. She was a devoted sister, cherished aunt and much beloved by her friends. She was loyal, uplifting, and steadfast — the kind of friend who showed up, prayed hard, and loved well.

She leaves behind her brother Greg, her sister Marillyn, two nephews, Jared and Mathew, four grandnephews and 1 grandniece, along with countless friends whose lives are better because of her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity, or that you honor her memory by playing a game of racquetball, helping someone in need, or simply sharing a kind word — just as she so often did.

While we grieve her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones, and resting in the arms of her Savior. As Scripture reminds us, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)

She ran her race with perseverance, kept the faith, and finished well.
