Thomas Martin Ohnstad 

Thomas Martin Ohnstad, age 63, passed away in Tucson, Arizona on June 5, 2026, after a long illness. He faced his health challenges with grace, courage, and good humor. 

Tom was born at Abbott Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 8, 1962. He graduated from Edina East High School in 1981. Just after graduating, he served in the Army Reserves for a short time. Tom then went on to work at various car and motorcycle dealerships. He loved riding motorcycles, the Arizona desert and had a deep love for music. He was a father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Known as a gentle soul who never said an unkind word about others, his warmth, humor and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Tom is survived by his daughter, Heidi Ohnstad; his father, Richard Ohnstad; his brother, Jonathan Ohnstad; his sisters, Alison Neish (Ohnstad) and Katie Cherbini (Ohnstad) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Chad Ohnstad, and his mother, Patricia Ohnstad.”
