Thamar Pacheco

Our beloved parents Rupert V and Thamar Pacheco passed away in their home peacefully after 69 years of marriage. Rupert went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2025, and Thamar, also known as Tita or Toni, joined him just 5 months later, on December 1 3, 2025. Rupert, born to Rupert Pacheco Sr and Beatriz Pacheco, and Tita, born to Luz Lespron and Jose

Torres. Together they were known for their unwavering support of family and hosting many Pachanga's at their home. Daddy was born December 12, 1935, in Marana, Az and Mom was born January 18, 1939, in Tucson AZ.

He is survived by his daughters Debi Talayumtewa, Rosemary Pacheco. Together, he and his beloved wife are survived by their children: Rupert Pacheco Ill (Dorothy), Denise Pacheco, Dina Pacheco-Gonzalez (Tommy) and Debbie Galaz (Gene Esparza). They are also remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Her beloved rescue dogs, Toby and Pinto, were a special part of her life.

Our Dad radiated warmth, love and kindness touching the lives of everyone around him. His quick wit and joyful spirit made people feel instantly at home. To us, Dad's voice saying, 'Don't worry, be happy', is something we'll carry forever. Our Dad was a Master Mason; Dad loved the challenge of hard work and poured his heart into everything he built.

Mom was a woman of great love, strength and resilience! Mom was vibrant and well known for her sharp wit and her deep love for her fur babies. She had a deep passion for drawing, especially her beautiful flower doodles. Mom retired from Hughes Aircraft after a long and dedicated career, where she worked as an inspector and proudly served as a union steward.

Our parents' love for their University of Arizona Wildcats was just one of the many ways they shared their spirit and joy for life. Our parents were always there for their children and grandchildren, encouraging them and proudly attending every sport, performance, and milestones.

Celebration of Life will be held January 22, 2026, at Son Life Chapel at 10:00 am
