Obituary for Terri Rochelle Acedo (Peaches) (February 4, 1971 – March 27, 2025)

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Peaches, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Terri, better known as Peaches, left us far too soon. She fought a valiant battle against breast cancer and did so with relentless courage, optimism, and tenacity — refusing to let her illness slow her down. Peaches was known for her infectious laughter, sharp wit, and larger-than-life personality that touched everyone who crossed her path.

Above all, Peaches cherished her family. She was a proud mother to her children, Ashley Hunter, Leroy Hunter IV, Taylor Acedo, and Tavia Acedo, who were the lights of her life. As a grandmother, Peaches adored her grandchildren, Larayah Hunter, Minka Naef and Londyn Acedo-Barragan. Her love for them knew no bounds. She relished watching them grow and always had a funny story or wise bit of advice to share.

Rest in peace and love Peaches. The world is a little less bright without you in it.
