Sandra U Lopez

Sandra U. Lopez from Tucson, Az was born January 23, 1958 to Luz B. Urbalejo. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 17, 2025. She was 67 years old.

Sandra went to Tucson High and worked while going to school. She started her first job at Tastee Freeze at a very young age of 15, then she worked at Crispy’s Potato Chips for about 8 years. She then got a job offer at Fry’s Food stores as a demonstrator then got a promotion as a cashier and was there for about 22 years. Her final job was at El Super, where she would always say that job was the best she ever had and loved the people she worked with. They were like her second family. She loved being in the customer service business and she was the best at it!

Sandra will be remembered for her love for her family, her music, cooking and her beautiful smile. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to have known her. She was proceeded in death by her mother Luz B. Urbalejo and her daughter Vanessa N. Kirby. Sandra is survived by her 5 children Maricela Lopez, Angelica Islas Perez (Sammy), Alex Islas (Marisol), Michelle Franking and Richard Badillo (Connie), 17 grandchildren and countless friends.

Rest in peace mom. We love you and we miss you everyday. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. You will be in our hearts forever.
