Rosemary Alvarez, born on August 19, 1943, in Patagonia, Arizona, passed away on August 28, 2026 in Tucson, Arizona. She lived a life marked by devotion to her home, steady care for others, and simple joys that brought warmth to her days.
Rosemary was a housewife whose life reflected dedication to family and the everyday acts of love that sustain a household. She also served as a DES babysitter for 25 years, offering patient care and dependable support to the children and families who were entrusted to her. That long season of service spoke to her nurturing spirit and her gift for making others feel looked after.
She found happiness in life’s familiar pleasures. Rosemary enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the weather, savoring quiet moments in the open air. She also enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, and eating at different restaurants, embracing opportunities to get out, explore, and enjoy good company and new experiences.
She is survived by her children, Joe Alvarez, Mary Alvarez, and Rebecca Arenas, and by her in-law, Rick Arenas. May their memories of Rosemary bring comfort in the days ahead and remain a lasting source of strength and love. She was preceded in death by Husband Joe D.
