Ronald Keith Garwick

Ronald Keith Garwick, age 90, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the Veterans Home in Tucson, AZ. Ronald was born on June 3, 1935, in Sterling, Illinois. He was the son of Chester & Mildred Garwick.

Ronald was a lineman/Foreman for Commonwealth Edison for over 30 years. He served in the Air Force for 3 years. Upon his discharge, he married Betty Williamson, in which 4 children were born.

In 1972, he married Gisela Bear, and a son was born. Ronald was in a serious accident in the Air Force, which contributed to the loss of most of his vision. Together with Gisela by his side, they were able to travel all over the world. He loved to be up to speed on the newest gadgets/technology.
He was married to Gisela for almost 52 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, wives, Betty & Gisela, son Jeffrey, son in-laws
Gilbert & Glen. Ronald is survived by his children, Cheryl (Brad) Krogull of Burlington, Iowa, Mark (Kathy) Garwick of Edgerton, Wisconsin, Julie Sommer of Wickenburg, Arizona, Rhonda (Randy) of Monroe, Wisconsin, step-daughter Marsha Barkyoumb of Rio Rico, Arizona, Alisha Garwick of Chandler, Arizona. 13 Grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by 2 sisters, Marlene Heckman of Dixon, Illinois, and Carol Segneri of Phoenix, Arizona. Private services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Veteran's home in Tucson, Arizona.
