Lee, 95, passed away in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Flint, Michigan to R.D. and Lydia Bloomfield. She was the only girl of five children and the second youngest. Her family moved to Janesville, Wisconsin, then returned to Michigan and lived in Detroit, where she spent most of her childhood years. In 1948 Lee met Bob Holsgrove in Detroit, where they tied the knot a few years later, and were married for 71 years. They had a residence in the Detroit area their entire lives. Lee had different careers, including being a drivers training instructor, and a retail sales manager and asset protection manager at Crowley’s, a Detroit area department store chain. After Lee and Bob retired, they became snowbirds for 30+ years. They traveled to Arizona, Alabama, and eventually settled in Florida during the harsh Michigan winter months, returning in the spring of each year. She was preceded in death by her brothers, and her husband Bob in 2021. Lee is survived by her three children Ken Holsgrove, Darlene Niles (Chaz), Roberta Willis (Steve), three grandchildren Jason Willis, Nicole Ratzloff (Scott), Melanie Holsgrove, and two great grandchildren Lukas Ratzloff and Nicklas Ratzloff.
