Maria Socorro (Teso) Tanori July 9, 1944 – June 15, 2026

It is with deep love that we announce the passing of Maria Socorro (Teso) Tanori, who entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Maria was born on July 9, 1944, to Theodore and Esperanza Teso in Tucson, Arizona. She was the youngest of 14 siblings and always spoke fondly of her memories of family in Continental, Arizona. Maria lived a life defined by faith, quiet strength, and unconditional love for her family. Those who knew Maria will remember her gentle spirit, generous heart, and contagious laughter.

Above all, Maria loved the Lord and sought to honor Him throughout her life. Her faith was the foundation of her family, and she faithfully covered her children and loved ones in prayer from the time they were young. She leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and unwavering faith that will continue through the generations she helped shape. Maria was preceded in death by many loved ones including her beloved husband, Frank Tanori; her daughter, Sonia Figueroa; her grandson, Daniel Figueroa and her granddaughter, Alyah Soto. She is survived by children: Olivia, Mike (Michelle), Rick (Selina), and Yolanda. She also leaves behind many cherished grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory and the love she shared.

While our hearts mourn her absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We find comfort knowing that Maria has been welcomed home and now rests in the presence of her Savior. Her life was a testimony of faith, love, and family, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
