Leo Castel De Oro Leon

Leo Castel De Oro Leon, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Leo was born on May 8, 1946, in Tucson, Arizona, and grew up in Barrio Hollywood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Catalina and David Leon; his brothers, David, Jesus "Chino," and Rudy; his sisters, Stella and Cecilia; and his grandchild, Gabriel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma; his sisters, Catalina and Leonor; his children, Lionel (Dawn), Michael (Tina), Rene, and Natalie (Alex Rosalez); and his grandchildren, Amber, Vincent, Lyndsi, DeAnna, AJ, Gracie, Jayden, Levi, Aaron, Rene Jr., Sirena, Eliana, and Mila.

Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 801 N. Grande Ave., Tucson, AZ 85745. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m.

The family will have a gathering in the church hall following Mass to celebrate Leo's life and share memories.
