Kevin Michael Donohoe, 74, passed away on Monday December 29, 2025 at his apartment in Tucson.

He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to John and Catharine Donohoe. He attended Tampa University and achieved a bachelor’s of arts in History. He then moved across the country inspired by the music of the Beach Boys, Santana and the Mamas and the Papas where he wound up in Tucson Arizona. He lived in Tucson for the better part of 50 years. He was a retired employee of the Hilton El Conquistador after working there for more than 30 years. He is fondly remembered by those who have met him for his jovial and easy going nature.

He is survived by his two children, Patrick (Xuejiao) and Martin (Jessica); his two sisters, Catharine Watson (Bill) and Christine Smith (Bill); his sister in law, Jan Donohoe; and predeceased by his brother John and his parents. There are however many other friends and family members who touched his life and were impacted by him. Everyone who knows Kevin remembers his love for impromptu speeches and traditional Irish blessings. One of his favorite blessings was “May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.” Here’s to you Kevin, you had a great life and left behind a legacy to be proud of.
