KATHARINE ANN HAWKINS

Katharine Ann Hawkins passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026. She was 87 years old. Her husband John died in 1989. She had a rich life full of adventures. With her B.S. in physical education and her M.F.A. in modern dance, she coached the synchronized swim teams at Northern Illinois University, and the University of Arizona for many years which lead them to place at multiple national championships.
Later in life as a travel agent, she loved to visit exotic countries and experience their cultures. She loved dachshunds and all ocean life especially dolphins. She is survived by her daughter Stasy, her grandson Severin and her sister Karen. She will be missed but we are happy that she is at peace and can now be with her husband, mom and sister in heaven.
