Judy was born in Akron, Ohio August 10, 1944. She graduated from Garfield High and worked at Ohio Edison until she married and given the opportunity to attend the University of Akron where she earn her B.A. In 1968. She and her first husband then move to Colorado.

Judy taught English (full-time) at Lewis-Palmer High School while earning a masters degree at Western State College . The degrees lasted, but the marriage did not. As a divorced female in the early 70's she was able to receive credit in her own name and purchase a home in Colorado Springs.

She volunteered and served on the board at planned Parenthood, coached women's track, and then was hired as a counselor at Colorado Hight School(at the same salary as male counselors---- a first at that time) where she worked for twenty-five years.

Judy met Bruce Moulton, a colleague in School District 11, and they found that they were well suited for each other. they married in 1980. After  retiring in 200 Judy kept busy with a home remodel, her photography hobby, dabbling in panting, cooking, crossword puzzles, and her lifelong hobby of voraciously reading. She never missed watching Jeopardy. Bruce and Judy move to the Northwest (Vancouver WA) but didn't acclimate to the weather there. In 2010 they visited friends in Green Valley and found their HOME.

In Green Valley they developed a wide circle of friends. They were members of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ where they worked with the estate sale team: and they volunteered with the Friends of the Library bookstore, selling used books every Friday afternoon.

Judy is survive by her husband Bruce , her favorite nephew MArk Mullet, favorite niece Joanna Trumbo and Angenette Benjamin, and favorite great nieces Tamara Degner and Amanda Soto. (Actually they're her only nephew and nieces.
