Jewell "Pat" Nichols

Jewell “Pat” Nichols, age 95, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. He was born on July 29, 1930, and lived a long, full, and meaningful life marked by dedication, kindness, a generous spirit and unwavering love for the people around him.

To everyone who knew him, Pat was a gentle giant with a kind heart—steady, nurturing, and always ready to offer comfort or compassion. Pat was known for his gentle strength, his unwavering devotion to those he loved, and his ability to bring comfort and joy to any room he entered. Whether through his warm smile, wise words, or his steady presence, he touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His presence alone could soothe a room, and his soft-spoken nature carried a wisdom and strength that inspired those who were blessed to share in his life.

Pat’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and deep devotion to family and friends. He cherished the simple, important moments—gatherings, conversations, shared laughter—and he created a lifetime of memories that will continue to guide and uplift those he leaves behind. He had a remarkable way of making others feel seen, valued, and cared for, and his legacy of love will endure in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Pat is survived by his son, Robert Nichols; his grandchildren Shannon Fohr, Mary Beth Neeper, and Lujac Neeper; his great‑grandchildren Madison, Skyler, and Darian (children of Shannon); and his great‑great‑granddaughter Catalina (daughter of Skyler).
