James Abren Perez “Chach”

October 28, 1980 – August 25, 2026

James Abren Perez, known to nearly everyone as “Chach,” passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 45.

Born in Tucson, Arizona, Chach was a beloved son, brother, partner, father, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, great sense of humour, generous heart, and his ability to make people feel welcome wherever he went.

Chach loved motorcycles, off-road racing, dune trips, going fast, and catching air. He was a remarkably talented rider and loved working on and modifying just about anything. New or old, nothing stayed stock for long — Chach was always certain he could make it better, faster, or smoother.

Above everything else, Chach loved his family, and his greatest pride and joy were his sons, Izaya and Ezra. He shared nearly 30 years of his life with his partner and best friend, Denisse Bojorquez, building a life together and raising their boys.

Chach is survived by his parents, James and Vera Perez; his sons, Izaya Bojorquez Perez and Ezra Bojorquez Perez; his sisters, Randie Fernandez and Jamie Milligan; his partner and best friend, Denisse Bojorquez; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Forty-five years was far too short, but Chach filled those years with family, friendship, laughter, adventure, and a whole lot of horsepower.
