With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Heather Rose Bricker-Blythe on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Casa de la Luz in Tucson, Arizona at 38 years of age.
After being diagnosed with cancer, Heather fought with unwavering courage for 9 months. She was born in Phoenix Arizona on January 8, 1988. Heather was a beautiful, intelligent, loving woman who touched many lives. Heather’s preference for the color red was indictive of her loving, caring, intense and perhaps a tad bit crazy personality.
Her closest friend of over 30 years who knew her best, captured the essence of Heather. Aimee said that Heather was incredibly smart and witty and hilarious and she always gave so much praise to those around her. She was like everyone’s personal cheerleader. She was bold and eccentric and commanded everyone’s attention when she walked into a room. Heather was beautiful and had confidence like no other person I’ve ever known. Most of the time, she spoke such big words that I wasn’t sure if she was making up words or if they were actual words so I would have to look them up in a dictionary! She also spoke so fast and jumped to different topics – if you didn’t pay close attention, you couldn’t keep up with her. All things that made up Heather is what I loved most about her. She was so special and truly one of a kind.
Heather was preceded in death by her brother Bobby, her Grandparents (Sam & Lena and Wayne & Lois), her Uncles (Philip and Brad) and her Aunt (Janet). She is survived by her Son Valimiir, her Mom and Dad (Terry & Teri), her siblings (Melodi, Matt, Melissa, Kristina & Jon), her best friend of many years, Aimee and many, many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great Cousins, friends and loved ones.
We are honoring her request to not have any services but would love for you to share a happy memory. The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who supported Heather.
