Esther Samorano

Esther Samorano was born on August 23, 1943, in Tucson, Arizona, and passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at the age of 83.

Esther spent 20 years working at PSE Archery before retiring. Outside of work, she found joy in the simple things: tending her garden, camping under the stars, and cooking for the people she loved. Anyone who knew Esther knew that her table and her heart were always open, and that her love for her family knew no bounds.

Esther was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudy Samorano; her sisters, Eleanor Pacheco and Annie Pacheco; her father, Martin Pacheco; her mother, Rosa Pacheco; and her grandson, Josiah Romero.

She is survived by her siblings, Antonio Pacheco (Maria), Josephina Coronel, Betty Huerta, and Ruben Pacheco (Belen); her children, Patricia Kline, Rosie Sproson, and David Samorano Sr.; and her grandchildren, Bryan Murray, Jason Moats (Jessica), Rachelle Murray, Justin Moats (Vy), David Samorano Jr. (Alex), Devin Samorano (Alicia), and Michael Sproson (Sara).

Esther was also blessed with 16 great grandchildren who brought immeasurable light into her life: Nadia Murray, Jenna Moats, Jaren Moats, Isabella Romero, Jasmine Moats, Noah Romero, Jayla Moats, Aliyah Samorano, Raelyn Samorano, Penelope Romero, Nathan Samorano, Zoe Moats, Aurora Sproson, twins Logan and Denver Samorano, and baby Nova Sproson, due to arrive this October and already loved by the family who awaits her.

The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Angelica Dimas, who lovingly cared for Esther as her caretaker for seven years. Her kindness and devotion meant more than words can say.

A celebration of life will be held this fall. Details will be shared at a later date.

Esther's love, warmth, and the memories she leaves behind will live on in every life she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
