Enrique Perez

November 24, 1979 – July 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Enrique Perez on July 13, 2026, at the age of 46.

Enrique was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, beloved brother, proud uncle, and loyal friend. Family was the foundation of his life. Every decision he made, every sacrifice he embraced, and every dream he pursued was inspired by his deep love for his family and his desire to provide them with the very best life possible.

Enrique's kindness and natural ability to connect with others made him someone people gravitated toward. His warm smile, quick wit, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Whether you knew him for years or had only just met him, Enrique had a way of making people feel welcome and valued.

Enrique found happiness in the simple things. He loved music and enjoyed spending his Saturdays grilling for his family. Those Saturday afternoons filled with laughter, conversation, and time together became memories his family will hold close to their hearts forever.

Sports were another of Enrique's greatest passions, especially football and basketball. As a youth basketball coach and the coach of his sons' teams, he found great joy in helping young athletes grow in confidence, develop their skills, and believe in themselves. He encouraged them to work hard, lead with character, and never give up. The lessons he shared continue to live on in the lives of those he coached.

Professionally, Enrique built a respected career as a CNC Machinist, earning the admiration of his coworkers for his precision, craftsmanship, and willingness to help others. He loved solving difficult problems and generously shared his knowledge with those around him. One of his greatest joys was teaching his sons the trade he loved, passing down not only his skills but also the values of integrity, perseverance, humility, and pride in a job well done.

Above all else, Enrique's greatest joy was being a husband and father. Nothing meant more to him than the time he spent with Kelly and their boys.

Although our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the love, laughter, guidance, and countless memories Enrique leaves behind. His kindness, generosity, and love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Enrique is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Perez; his sons, Joseph (Maryntia), Jacob, and Enrique "JJ."; his brother, Salvador Alvarez (Connie); his sisters, Lily Mejia (Jr.) and Diana Mejia (DJ); his brother, Noe Mejia (Lori); his cherished nieces and nephews; extended family; and many lifelong friends who will forever remember him with love.

He was preceded in death by his father, Salvador Alvarez; his mother, Maria Rebecca Mejia; his grandparents, Guadalupe and Liliana Perez; and his mother-in-law, Martha Josephine Slate.

A memorial service celebrating Enrique's life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at:
