Daniel Ramon Zepeda

Daniel “Danny” Ramon Zepeda, a beloved brother, uncle, godfather, athlete, and loyal fan, passed away on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at the age of 71 in his home. He was born in Tucson, AZ to Manuela “Nellie” Noperi and Antonio Zepeda. Danny grew up in a full house as one of 10 children.

Danny is survived by his 3 sisters and 2 brothers: Angela, Maryanne (Victor), Lydia, Richard, and Manny, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents: Manuela and Antonio, and 4 sisters: Edna, Gloria (Herb), Yolanda, and Cecilia.

He was a graduate of Tucson High School in 1974 and received a General Electronics certificate from Pima Community College in 1996.

Danny loved sports and played baseball and basketball growing up. Most of all, he was a devoted supporter of the University of Arizona. Beyond his love for sports and his large family, Danny was a cherished uncle who brought warmth, humor, and support to those closest to him. His guidance, kindness, and presence will be deeply missed by his entire family.

A viewing to celebrate Danny’s life will be held on Monday, August 10th at 9a at Avenidas Cremation & Burial followed by a burial service at 12:30p at Holy Hope Cemetery.
