Charlotte Fredrickson, age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, surrounded by the quiet currents of love and remembrance. Born on August 17, 1950, Charlotte was a woman of fierce spirit, vibrant presence, and an unyielding commitment to those she loved.

A native of California, Charlotte spent much of her life building deep roots in Modesto, where her warmth and protective nature touched many. In her later years, her journey led her through Oregon and Arizona, always carried forward by her enduring internal strength and independent spirit.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Thomas Gann and Mary Fern Gann; her husband, Robert Lee Fredrickson Sr.; her daughter, Kristie Lynn Dickerson; her sisters, Wanda Brandenburg and Vicki Campbell; and her brother, Thom Gann.

She leaves behind her son, Robert; her significant other, Steven Gable; her sisters, Carolyn and Loretta; her brothers, Rick, James, and Herschel; five grandchildren, and a devoted circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever remember her sharp wit, her love for angel wing begonias, and her vibrant Leo fire.

In accordance with her final wishes, Charlotte will be cremated, and a private family journey will take place to inter her ashes alongside her late husband in California, returning her to the earth where her heart always remained. She has been formally welcomed home into the ancestral circle of her line, where her light will forever guard the perimeter.
