Charles Harvey Sturdivant

Charles Harvey Sturdivant, age 85, passed away July 9th at Northwest Hospital, Tucson, Arizona. He will be cremated and Interment will be at Ingles Cemetery in Rose Hill Virginia.

Survived by his Wife Eileen of 65 years, Brother Ralph (Helen) of Florence Kentucky, numerous Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends.

Preceded in death by parents Bill and Nellie Sturdivant, Brothers Jerry, John and Clifford; Sisters Nancy Hileman and Edna Sturdivant.

He gave his heart to to Lord in a Salvation tent at the age of 11 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He had his Minister's License in Kentucky. He had been a Pastor and an Associated Pastor. He was affiliated with the Baptist and Church of God faiths. He married couples, dedicated babies, conducted funerals and other requirements. Church was always his Life and priority.

Although he began working at Hughes Aircraft in Tucson, Arizona 1978, which became Raytheon, where he retired 2000, he made sure Church remained his priority. He will be missed by everyone who loved him.
