It is with deep love and profound faith that we announce the passing of Celia M. Rickard, 73, of Tucson, AZ, who entered into the presence of our Lord on May 30, 2026.Born on May 17, 1953, in Tucson, Celia was also affectionately known as Chitty or Sally. She was the daughter of Pedro and Juanita Miranda, and a beloved sibling to Sarah, Josie, Rosa, Jesus, Ofelia, Irene, and Johnny. Celia lived her life in Tucson, where she made a home with her loving husband, Thomas C. Rickard Jr. Children, David Miranda, John Howard, Mary Howard, Genevieve Miranda, and Georgina Corrales; her son-in-law, Jorge F. Mejia; her grandchildren, Tony, Rosa, Daniel, Angel, Emmanuel, Jasmine, Enez, Alexis, Enissa, Enaya, and Jorge; and her great-grandchild, Rosalinda.Celia's greatest joy was her family and her love for others. She was a generous and loving woman who kept her home open to all. A devoted wife and doting grandmother, she found immense happiness in taking her children and grandchildren to Sunday Mass and spending quality time enjoying life's moments. By passing down spiritual traditions, she leaves behind a deeply meaningful legacy. Her gentle spirit, infectious heart, and warm smile will continue to comfort all who knew her.
