Bert Ozzie Gillette

Bert Ozzie Gillette, 90, of Amado, Arizona, passed away on February 2, 2026, at his home. He was born on April 25, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Odel and Myrtis (Millward) Gillette.

Bert led a life full of dedication and passion. He relocated to Arizona in September 2026. His contributions through his work were matched by his spirit as a proud veteran who served his country honorably.

An accredited bowler, Bert found joy in the sport and spent many days honing his skills on the lanes. His love for football was equally profound, often bringing excitement and camaraderie to his viewing parties.

Bert is lovingly remembered and survived by his daughter, Daun; his two sisters, Joyce and Kay; and his brother, Ray. He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Daun; and also his parents.  He will be missed profoundly by his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
